After using a DIY logo for 2 years, Tess identified the need to rebrand and create something unique and distinctive for her growing embroidery business.

  • The brief was to create “something bold and different” that would set Tess apart from her competitors.

  • Playing on the business name, I started with typeface exploration to find a free-flowing script that resembles embroidery threads. Then I customised the type and illustrated a sewing needle to cross the t’s, and a small ‘x’ shape representing a single stitch to dot the i.
